Wordless Wednesday #68: Heartbroken & Still Want to #SaveLennox

You may have noticed a little absence from me on the blog. Sorry I'm taking "Wordless" Wednesday to explain. Currently I'm in Chicago for a Nationals Dance Competition with my daughter. She has 7 dances through this whole week and we are busy with those and visiting some family while we are here. I'm looking forward to getting back to "normal" once we return.

But, right now, at this moment, I'm feeling a heart broken. I got onto Facebook before turning in for the night last night and was overcome with all the Lennox updates that are circulating. From what I read then and what I read now, it seems as though Lennox is OTRB courtesy of some ignorant fools on the Belfast City Council. And they don't care. I can't fathom the heartbreak his family must feel. If I think about Lennox's situation happening to our family with our beloved Onyx I get sick to my stomach.

I'm having a lot of trouble putting into words the hurt, anger, frustration and disgust this situation is filling me with. All I do know is that Belfast's ignorance is not the end of this fight. It's the beginning. The Lennox Campaign will continue and it will make a difference. Please do not let the momentum die because of the worst possible outcome coming true. Please continue to fight to end BSL. Lennox created an army of passionate and caring people with the motivation to make a change. Even though the change did not happen fast enough to save him, there will be more Lennox dogs and we can still save them.
