Twiggy and Onyx are both dog door pros. They've used them. They like them. They enjoy the freedom. The in out in out in out in out in out, all without assistance. But right now, they just have dog door envy. PlexiDor envy.
I was introduced to PlexiDor's Performance Pet Doors at the 2013 BlogPaws conference. It's the first pet door that doesn't need replacement flaps, which helps with energy efficiency. There are panels that push open instead of the standard flap. And it looks SO much nicer in the wall. (You can also get doors for a door or glass.) Check out the pictures that Frankie from Frankie, I'm a lover not a fighter shared over on his guest post on Two Little Cavaliers:
PlexiDor created a unit that is not only looks nice, but offers security by easily locking the doors and providing a white plate that can be screwed in for longer times away from home. Plus, if you need tips about how to train your dog to use the door you can read what was shared over on Libby's Library. Her pups, well mostly just her one dog Gabe, were a little weary of using the door at first. There are definitely some tips and tricks if you need them.
Twiggy and Onyx are truly jealous and I'm pretty sure I caught them having a secret meeting on how they plan to get one for themselves!
